Marietta High School Blue Devil Football

Brian Grundmeyer returns to the Blue Devil staff for his 13th season.  Coach Grundmeyer serves as the Programs strength and conditioning coordinator as well as one of the Freshman team coaches.  Coach “G” has offered a passion for the game over his career and his relentless work ethic, which have made him very valuable to many successful Blue Devil seasons.  He has coached and mentored many current and future college athletes and has led them toward a path of success in their young lives. He also provides leadership in his teaching role as the Department Chair of the Health and Physical Education Department at MHS.   He attended Ball State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science and Physical Education as well as receiving his Masters in Physical Education.   Coach G is happily married to a Marietta graduate, Shannon Dorsey Grundmeyer.  They have two lovely children, Evan, 4 and Lauren, 2.
