Greg Jackson attended Marietta High School from 2002-2005. While at Marietta, he received the MVP and the Permante Captain Awards and was named to the all-county team (Offense and Defense). Coach Jackson received the first ever 48 Minute Player Award. After graduating from Marietta, he attended University of Memphis (2005-2009) to play football. Greg was named to the Pre-Season All-Conference Team in 2007, 2008, and 2009. He also received the Defensive MVP in 2008 while at the University of Memphis). In 2010, he attended the Atlanta Falcons OTA's and mini-camps as well as those of the Las Vegas Locomotives (UFL). In 2011, he played for the Green Bay Blizzard of the IFL (Indoor Football League). While with Green Bay, he finished second in the Defensive MVP and Defensive rookie of the year voting’s.
