Want to be considered for a MYFL coaching Position? follow these simple steps:
1. Download the below MYFL coaches application, fill it out, take a picture of it and send it to Harold Spann via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Do this step before any other steps to save yourself time and effort.
2. Once we receive your application, Our Athletic Directors will review it and be in touch with you if we have any questions about your football coaching experience and answer any of your questions surrounding our program.
3. Once we have talked with you and we have approved your application, all coaches, Flag, Cheer, and Tackle coaches must have a background check performed and this is done on the cobbfootball.com website.
4. All Tackle coaches are required to be Heads Up level 1 certified before they can participate in tackle contact practices. This is low cost training that is subsidized by Cobb Football League. We will give you the information on how to become Heads Up certified within our program once your application and background check are approved.
The below MYFL Coaches application is required for all Flag, Tackle, and Cheerleading Coaches.
In additon to this application form being completed and signed, all coaches and Tackle Team Parents (who are required to be on the field to assist their team) are required to submit a background check for confirmation, in order to participate as a coach in our league for this coming season.
To submit your background check, please visit the Cobb Football website, click on "REGISTER HERE" and then create an account for your email id, and select Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Team Parent, or Board member. This process will cost $15 on your credit card and take approximately 48 hours from your time of payment to be processed and confirmed.
