Coach Rembert is entering his first year as a member of the Blue Devils Coaching Staff. He began his football-coaching career in 2009 as an offensive line coach at Langston Hughes High School in Fairburn, GA. He also served as an offensive/defensive line coach at Campbell High School, in Smyrna. Prior to football, Coach Rembert coached various youth sports from T-ball to basketball in Norcross, Marietta, and Smyrna. Additionally, he spent two summers as a Marietta City Parks & Recreation day camp counselor at the Elizabeth Porter Recreation Center commonly known as the “canteen” on Montgomery Street. Coach Rembert comes to us from Northwestern Middle School in Milton, GA where he lead his 2014-2015 7th and 8th grade boys basketball team to a perfect 9-0 season.
Coach Rembert teaches 8th Grade Language Arts at Marietta Middle School. A graduate of Kennesaw State University, he earned a B.S. in Middle Grades Education with concentrations in Language Arts and Social Studies. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Ministry at Richmont Graduate University in Atlanta.
Marietta is special to the Rembert family since Coach Rembert and his wife, Misty, met in Marietta over a decade ago. They have been married for 10 years and are the proud parents of Kevin II, 9. Although Coach Rembert is a native of Sumter, SC and currently resides in the Vinings area of Atlanta, he is excited to be a part of the Marietta Community.
